why does giRaffe keep on wanting to plod all over the place?
because it makes her feel free.
why is being free so important to a giRaffe?
because not being free makes a giRaffe fearful.
giRaffe is not scared of not being free per se though that is somewhat scary too, but rather, the state of not being free induces fear in a giRaffe if you get what giRaffe means.
it makes a giRaffe fearful of not meeting people's expectations, it makes a giRaffe fearful of not fitting into the box, when a giRaffe was never meant to be in the box.
and when that happens, a giRaffe will attempt to fit herself into that someone else's box, but never succeeding.
and because giRaffe cannot do that, her fear of not fitting into the box gets worse, and thus the vicious cycle continues.

so a giRaffe reminds herself constantly, to be free.
to get away.
to be alone.
to find what is true to herself.
to purge her fears away.
ps: the second picture has nothing to do with this post; giRaffe just found it intriguing because she realised only today that hipstamatic's blackeys ultragrain is not truly b&w but actually with the saturation removed until very little colour is left.
