Lousy. That’s how I feel right now.
Anyway, is lousy derived from louse?
As in the singular of lice?
Because if it is, why does lousy mean lousy?
Because I think lice are not lousy at all;
They are tiny, they move fast, they evade all attempts to catch them, they reproduce like mad, they drive anyone with lice in them crazy.
So, lousy isn’t really lousy is it?
